Story Overview:
The Wilde sisters of Midnight return in this thrilling novel of romantic suspense, perfect for fans of Maya Banks, Allison Brennan, and Lori Foster.

The winds of fate have blown cruelly on a family that once had it all: money, power, prestige. The lives of three beautiful daughters were forever changed when, on a sultry night in Midnight, Alabama, a murder-suicide shattered the Wilde family. The girls grew up to live separate lives but now have returned home, each to face a danger no one can see coming.

Former homecoming queen Samantha surprised everyone by going into law enforcement, but beneath her tough façade lies a wary heart. The tragedy that struck her family is an ever-present reminder that nothing is ever as it seems. When the man she loves, Quinn Braddock, a doctor and Iraq war veteran, is accused of murder, Samantha assumes the worst. Brokenhearted, her confidence shattered, she returns to Midnight. Though exonerated, Quinn still feels the sting of Samantha’s doubt, but he can’t forget his feelings for her and follows her. Soon after his arrival, a shocking murder terrifies the town, and once again, Quinn is under suspicion. This time, Samantha will not turn her back on the man she loves—even if it means walking into a killer’s trap.

My Review:
Emotion....Ella Grace's books have it. At the beginning of this book, Quinn and Sam have a pretty good relationship. They've been dating for 4 months and Quinn is thinking about moving it up to the next level...although he NEVER plans to get married again. He did that once and it was a disaster. They are serious, but they've both kept secrets...those secrets KILL their relationship when Quinn is accused of murdering his ex-wife. Sam has doubts that go back to HER secrets from her childhood. Their relationship implodes even though they both realize they made mistakes. They realize it too late.

Five months later, Quinn gets a phone call that changes everything. He totally misread everything with Sam and realizes that he totally blew it. But in the meantime, she's changed her entire life and gone back home to her triplet sisters. He goes after her to recover their relationship and unknowingly brings danger to her door. What makes this book so good is the depths to which Quinn feels for Sam, even when he denies it to her and to himself. His actions say so much more.

This book is one of those  that I could simply not put down. The tension and suspense is absolutely fabulous. I even managed to figure out who the bad guy was about halfway through the book (that never happens for me), but it didn't affect my enjoyment of the story at all. It was really an amazing book. The conflict between Quinn and Sam was perfect and I liked how much they had to grow and realize things through the book. There was a definite character arc through the book.

I also loved the continuing relationship between the three girls. I like their story and the way that all of them are developing their own story lines. As triplets, they don't think twice about getting into each other's business in the name of making things better. I loved the scenes between Savannah and Quinn. Also, I cannot wait for Sabrina's story...there was a lot happening here for her behind the scenes that I foresee affecting her book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
