Story Overview:
She hired him to take her virginity...but now she wants even more.

Lori might be a popular romance writer, but she's never been anything but a flop with sex and love in her personal life. Still a virgin at twenty-six and increasingly frustrated by her inexperience, she decides to take matters into her own hands. She hires a talented, sexy male escort to take care of her inconvenient virginity.

She assumes one time with Ander will be enough, but she never dreams how much pleasure he can make her feel. Once isn't nearly enough. Twice isn't enough either. Soon, she becomes one of his regular clients.

Lori knows that nothing would be as foolish as falling in love with her paid escort, but she's never been wise with her heart. And, despite his professionalism, he doesn't seem entirely immune either.

My Review:
I'll admit it, I'm not usually a fan of the virgin heroine style of books, but this one worked for me....maybe because it's so rare to find a hero like Ander. Usually male hookers aren't the ideal hero either. But it worked and it worked really well. I loved this book!

Lori grew up with a crush on one guy. She just knew that someday he would turn around and realize that she was the perfect girl for him. That didn't happen and by the time Lori realized it wasn't going to happen, she was past that point of where most people have lost their virginity...and she made it there with VERY LITTLE experience. Now it's hanging over her head with the promise of complete embarrassment because she is so inexperienced in the bedroom. It causes her to freeze up when she gets into a situation where things have the possibility of heating up to the point of changing her "v" problem.

Enter Ander. He's a high-class male escort who has built his clientele by word-of -mouth. He's very good at what he does and extremely professional about it. At the beginning of the book, it's hard to get to know him because he remains very aloof and has that professional facade. This book is also told entirely from Lori's point of view so you don't get any insight except for the minor little cracks in his facade that slide through. He's an amazing character though. He knows that what he does isn't normal. It began as a way to get back at his father and has become his entire life...not necessarily something that he aspired to. As you peel back the layers of who Ander is, I challenge you not to fall in love with this guy. By the time we were at the end of the book, he completely had my heart.

This book is really well-done. It follows these two characters over a year, so the build-up of their relationship is very slow and realistic. And I like the way that things transitioned for them. It seemed right and despite this being a love story, was definitely not all smooth sailing. Both of these characters have a lot to work through, not only about Ander's career that he's done for the last ten years, but also that Lori was a client.

A sidenote, Lori is an author. As such she has an extremely inquisitive nature about people. She is constantly peppering Ander with very intrusive questions and always just speaks her mind. I liked that aspect of the story and how it enabled Lori to get to know the real Ander, not just the escort face he put on.

As you would expect, this is an erotica...and it does not disappoint. Whoa this book is seriously smexy. It worked for me on all levels. LOVED IT!
