Story Overview:
He's the Super Bowl hero men idolize and women lust after...the bad-boy quarterback with a dangerous edge. But behind his devil-may-care grin, Ty Calhoun hides a desire that only one woman can ever fulfill -- and a memory he can't shake: high school graduation night...and mind-blowing sex with the untouchable girl of his dreams. He would trade every trophy to feel the heat of her sensual, uninhibited lust once more. And he may get that chance...because she's just been hired by the San Francisco Outlaws' new owner to make over Ty's less-than-angelic reputation.

The country's top image consultant, Julie Spencer is a total pro at cleaning up the messes of the rich and famous. Even working with the man who took her virginity and broke her heart ten years ago can't rattle her. Until he touches her again. One caress -- and one very hot kiss -- is all it takes to spark the same knee-quaking electricity, and soon they're mixing business and extreme pleasure. But knowing the danger this bad boy poses to her heart, Julie is determined to keep her distance.

But Ty has a game plan of his own. The more he misbehaves, the more Julie will have to keep tabs on him -- and the more he can give his dream girl some very real thrills, by showing her just how fun it is to be bad. This time around, he's game for anything...especially winning her heart.

My Review:
I really enjoy the sports-centered books. This one is about Ty, quarterback for the Superbowl-winning Outlaws.

I loved Julie's character. She came from money, but not necessarily a good home life. She has built her career and business entirely on her own. She knows how to handle and work people and is totally confident about herself and her own abilities until she gets around Ty and then she tends to melt into a hormonal puddle.

Ty has his own issues. He was raised by an alcoholic father at the edge of poverty. Dear old dad saw Ty as a talented way to make money...not as a son. Ty has a natural talent, charisma, and good looks and he has let his life maintain a fairly shallow level. He has always regretted the events of the morning after his night of passion with Julie and she's always stayed close to the surface of his thoughts. Just like, for Julie, no man has ever compared in her mind to Ty.

I like how this relationship slowly develops esp. for Julie. Ty never has any doubt from the moment that he hears her name that he wants her in his bed again. Julie, on the other hand, still feels the anger and hurt that was left after he took her virginity. But as she begins to know Ty better, she starts to see him in a better light and begins to think that maybe her hormones may not be so out of whack with what her mind and heart need.

There were a few minor issues with this book and the characters in it acting consistently, but honestly, people (esp. when there are emotions involved) don't necessarily act consistently.

Bella Andre writes great, emotional, sexy reads and this one is no exception. It's a really fun book to read. Highly entertaining with just enough heat to find you reaching for your significant other.

I am still on the fence about sports related romances :) I will have to put this on the list for when I do decide to give another one a try!

This one sounds very sexy Christi. I haven't ever really read a sports themed book but I know that I'd love it with how much I really enjoy sports. I think that I would like to see a series about some sexy Football players just like the series that I've been wanting to check out about sexy hockey players...yep, going on my TBR list. :-D
