Story Overview:

The daughter of a powerful sports agent, Melissa McKnight has harbored lust-filled fantasies for Dominic DiMarco ever since she was an awkward teenager, when the San Francisco Outlaws' gorgeous wide receiver became her father's superstar client. Now Melissa's a beautiful, tenacious associate in her father's firm, and being around to-die-for hard-bodies is all in a day's work...until tangling with Dominic at a photo shoot blindsides her with passion.

Dominic has built a flawless career by being in control — on and off the field. And despite his intense desire for Melissa, he's not about to seduce his agent's daughter — until Melissa stages a power play to break free from her domineering father and winds up at an edgy bar on the wrong side of town. Dominic thinks he's rescuing the innocent Melissa he met years ago...but one night of sizzling passion reveals a woman with no limits — including a penchant for hot sex in public places. If anyone's breaking all the rules of seduction, it's sexy, irresistible Melissa.

But Dominic has a secret from years ago — one that could ruin his sterling reputation and take Melissa along with him. Will his bad-boy past bind them closer together? Or will they crash and burn?

My Review:
I loved this book. A great example of two people who think that they can't be together, but simply can't stay away from each other. Melissa has had a crush on Dominic ever since she was 17 years old. Dominic has lusted after Melissa for years. One passion-filled evening quickly leads them down a path where they cannot keep their hands off each other.

I loved Melissa's character. She's so tough and ballsy. Her heart may be breaking, but she never lets it show. She has been raised in a man's world and has learned how to hide everything under a professionally facade at all times. I loved watching her hold her head high and pull out that persona- this is a gal that never cracks and you have to admire that.

Dominic is America's sweetheart. A really all-around nice guy that hasn't been spoiled by all of his fortune and fame. He respects Melissa and what she is trying to build. His protective instincts around her are phenomenal. Sensitive, sweet, and sexy- you gotta love those qualities in a guy. Some of my favorite scenes of his in this book were with Ty and TJ- he's a pro athlete, but willing to share with the next guy to help- no macho competition here.

This is a great sensual read. Now I definitely need to search out the other 2 in this series... This was #2 out of 3.... Not because I need them for more of the story, but simply because this one was so enjoyable- I want and NEED more!
