Story Overview:
Don’t miss this spectacular new series that will steal your heart and haunt your dreams,  Welcome to Shadow Falls camp, nestled deep in the woods of a town called Fallen…

One night Kylie Galen finds herself at the wrong party, with the wrong people, and it changes her life forever.  Her mother ships her off to Shadow Falls—a camp for troubled teens, and within hours of arriving, it becomes painfully clear that her fellow campers aren’t just “troubled.”  Here at Shadow Falls, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, witches and fairies train side by side—learning to harness their powers, control their magic and live in the normal world.

Kylie’s never felt normal, but surely she doesn’t belong here with a bunch of paranormal freaks either.  Or does she?  They insist Kylie is one of them, and that she was brought here for a reason.  As if life wasn’t complicated enough, enter Derek and Lucas.  Derek’s a half-fae who’s determined to be her boyfriend, and Lucas is a smokin’ hot werewolf with whom Kylie shares a secret past.  Both Derek and Lucas couldn’t be more different, but they both have a powerful hold on her heart.

Even though Kylie feels deeply uncertain about everything, one thing is becoming painfully clear—Shadow Falls is exactly where she belongs…

My Review:
In the past month, Kylie's world has fallen apart- her grandmother has died, her parents are getting a divorce, her boyfriend has dumped her, and she's being stalked by a "soldier guy" that no one else can see. She goes to a party to try and relax that ends in a police bust for drugs and alcohol (neither of which she was using), but it's enough for her mother to ship her off to a summer camp for troubled teens. What no one realizes is that this is a very special summer camp- one for supernatural teens.

Unbeknownst to her, Kylie is not human- the 1st clue- soldier boy stalking her that no one else can see. Yep, she's a ghost whisperer- she sees dead people. Beyond that, no one knows what she is. They know that she is a paranormal, but normally paranormals can "read" each other. Kylie's one can read her and she is clueless so it's all a big mystery. Her roommates at camp are a vampire and dyslexic witch. She has two love interests: Lucas- a werewolf that she knew when she was younger, and Derek- a half fae who can control emotions and communicate with animals.

This book is so well-written with such an amazing cast of characters. CC Hunter has written an all-new world of amazing creatures at this camp where they are all trying to learn early how to get along. Add in normal teenage angst to the paranormal adjustments that all these kids are trying to make and you definitely have the setting for some incredible drama and stories.

This is just the first installment of this fabulous series and I LOVE it! I want to know...
*who will Kylie ultimately choose?
*what exactly is Kylie?
*will Holiday and Burnett ever give in to their mutual fascination?
*what will it take for the species to feel comfortable together?
*how are the future changes to the camp going to affect ALL of these characters?

I cannot wait. You NEED to read this book!! This book sucks you right into this world and I can tell you right now...I am ready to go to summer camp! Fabulous, fabulous book!!!
