Story Overview:
I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma’s boy? Check, check and check.

Now I can’t stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It’s just a harmless crush, right? It’s not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It’s not like I’m going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he’s the doctor. Shoot. Me.

But what if, for once, the man I’ve had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

My Review:
This book is perfectly named because it's right...this story is just so WRONG...and mortifying...and heartbreaking...and emotional. Until suddenly it's right. And I'll admit, I wasn't sure that it was ever going to get there for me.

Luke is not a nice guy. He's actually very domineering and does not communicate well. With the difference in age, it feels wrong in so many ways and that's way before we discuss the wrongness of the whole gynecological aspect. But stick with the book. Eventually it all comes out about just how he feels and things suddenly feel right, but gah...getting to that point...it was NOT an easy read. Again, it's just all so wrong.

But the star of this book is Sophie. She's every girl. She's awkward and embarrassed and so real, it's easy to relate to her. She also is risking a lot to be with Luke...with very little reward. The things she has to put up with are mortifying. Luke's family and ex...OMG, seriously, he deserves to be dumped just for putting her through all of them. He's so protective about everything else...but doesn't protect her from their vitriol. That's REALLY difficult to get past, especially when he's a jerk at the same time (I'm looking at you, those last few chapters).

Seriously, I thought that was it for me and this book, but then it worked. OMG, did it work and I was more in love with Luke than even Sophie was. Bravo to Jana Aston for pulling off that incredible story telling.

In the end I loved this book...and I never would have seen that coming. This was my first Jana Aston read, and book #2 (and 2.5 and 3) is already lined up on my audio TBR. I cannot imagine how Everly's story will go, but I'm anxious to see how the author redeems her...because now I have faith that will happen.
