Sexual Intensity: hot

Story Overview:
Miss Responsibility meets Mr. Reckless
With her bridezilla friend on a DIY project rampage, bridesmaid Jane Denning will do anything to escape - even if it means babysitting the groom's troublemaker brother before the wedding. It should be a piece of cake, except the "cake" is a sarcastic former soldier who is 100% wicked hotness and absolutely off-limits.

Cameron MacKinnon is ready to let loose after returning from his deployment. But first he'll have to sweet talk the ultra-responsible Jane into taking a walk on the wild side. Turns out, riling her up is the best time he's had in years. But what happens when the fun and games start to turn into something real?

My Review:
Okay, I had to go back and read this book after reading book #2 in the series, which just released. I had just as much fun with this one.

Quite simply, this is a fun series. It's about a group of four friends who are in the process of finding their happily ever afters while being bridesmaids for each other. It's fun to watch the bridezilla moments. It's fun to see the bonds of friendship overcome those tense moments. And it's fun to see the girls who have no hope for love to find exactly that.

This book is about Jane. She's a young adult fantasy writer. She's plain Jane...the sedate one, the trustworthy one, the one everyone can count on to have the level head. So, she's the one who's tasked to rein in Cameron, the wild child younger brother of the groom, so he doesn't ruin the wedding.

The thing is...Cameron earned his black sheep status falsely. Yes, all the stories about him are true...kind of. But no one has asked him for his side of things to realize that he's really a good guy who's been falsely maligned. But as Jane hangs out with him she begins to see that there's more to him than the stories. And he begins to see what a goddess she can be when she lets loose, so he makes it his mission to keep Jane in goddess mode.

This book was so much fun. I really had a great time reading it...book #2 is just as good, too. I highly recommend this series. It's fun and entertaining and kept me smiling as I read it.
