Story Overview:
They say it happens when you least expect it.

It did for me.

It started the moment I saw the simple message pop up on my computer screen:

Cameron’s Mac: Hi.

And when I met the eyes of the gorgeous man messaging me from across the coffee shop, I never thought my reply would lead to the most intense, sexual, and passionate relationship of my life.

We both agreed to check our bags at the door and put our future hopes and aspirations on the table.

It worked.

I fell in love with his no holds barred attitude, sexy smirk, and undeniably good heart . . . and for a while we forgot about our baggage. We happily tripped over it to get to the other, neither of us willing to show the contents of our pasts in the off chance it could ruin us.

We built our love on a foundation of gray.

It was life in black and white that threatened to tear us apart.

My Review:
This book is a bit difficult to review just because I saw the twist coming almost from the very beginning. So instead of being shocked by it, it felt like the book dragged on forever while I waited for it to be revealed. As a result, I really think that affected my ability to enjoy the book and I skimmed a lot of the story...sadly.

But even skimming the book, I could see the potential in the story. Some of the language and the thoughts throughout the story were simply beautiful. This is a book that you could take apart and find amazing quotes from it.

For me, though, the book and the romance just didn't quite do it. Anytime that I resort to skimming it makes me sad. I want to be able to immerse myself and become wholly emotionally invested in a story. That didn't work for me in this one.

BUT...so many people have loved and adored this book, so don't just take my word for it. Read the blurb and other reviews. It might just be the perfect story for you.
