My Review:
First thing you need to know...this is book #5 in this series, but that's okay if you haven't read the others. I haven't read the other books in the series either (yet...they are now all officially on order because I fell in love with this family). This book totally works as a standalone and you won't have a bit of confusion.

And you REALLY need to read this book because it was so, so good!! I loved the romance, but I truly loved the whole entire story about Nick and all this upheaval in his life. It's all such a shock and he's having to deal with so much...the stress of a 12 yo boy's life in his hands...a new family with 4 siblings, a difficult father, the stress of having his mother and adoptive father lie to him for 29 years.

The romance with Amanda is his safe place...a bit of normalcy in the soap opera-like drama his life has become.

There was a ton of emotion to the story...as you'd expect with this storyline, but it was a sexy read, too. The moments Nick had with Amanda were like a breath of fresh air and then it turned to sizzling hot air as their chemistry ignited. I loved the two of them so much. Amanda is the 12 yo's nurse, so she's dealing with the stress of all this, too...and the very real danger to her patient.

And I have to say...no spoilers here, but the ending with Myles...OMG, so much perfection in just a couple of sentences that made me so, so happy.

In fact, this entire book made me happy. I'm dying to read all the other siblings stories. With the glimpses I got to see of them in this book, I could tell all their stories were good. I really loved this group of characters...so much love and support (eventually) which makes for a great dynamic.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but before I'd even finished reading it, I got online and pre-ordered a print copy of this book and the other 4 books in the series...yes, it was that good!
