Story Overview:
Adam Kingston expects to inherit his father’s multinational conglomerate. When he finds out half of it went to Nate Thomas—an annoying man whose dreams for Kingston Corp.’s future clash with Adam’s need to stave off financial disaster—Adam is furious. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to wrest control of Kingston Corp. from Nate.

Nate may be soft-spoken, but he refuses to be swayed by Adam’s arrogant demands. When Nate accidentally drops a pair of his lacy panties in front of Adam, there’s no mistaking Adam’s interest. Nate hadn’t realized Adam was bisexual, but now that his secret is out, Nate is willing to use Adam’s lust against him if it means protecting the welfare of the company he loves.

For Adam and Nate, hatred and desire are closely linked. Their inability to compromise threatens the company and could expose their tightly held secrets. But as they work together to develop a plan to save Kingston Corp., they begin to realize there might be more to their relationship than anger and lust.

My Review:
This was an interesting book. Nate and Adam have been at odds for several years. Adam had a contentious relationship with his father, so when his father brought in Nate to be his right-hand man in the company, things got even more strained. It didn't help that Nate didn't see eye-to-eye with his father, either, but somehow they managed to make their partnership work...something that Adam never could figure out. And now it's too late to prove to his father that his ideas are worth something.

But an even bigger blow is that his dad didn't just leave the company to Adam. He left it to both Adam and Nate. Now they have to figure out how to make this work....when they can't even be in the same room together without things devolving into an argument.

That's the work relationship, but now let's get to the fun part...the sexual relationship. Adam in bisexual, but he's not out. Nate has his suspicions, but nothing that's ever been confirmed. On the other hand, Nate is out. There was one single aspect of this book that I didn't get...Adam's insistence that he not come out because of the Board's perceptions of him. But they don't seem to have an issue with, where's the big deal? Maybe I missed something. But beyond that minor niggle, I did love the whole hate/passion between the two guys. They fight and it's most definitely foreplay, especially once Adam sees Nate's panties. He's intrigued by the naughty, forbidden images of sexy, muscular Nate in that lace...and it's seriously hot. I also really loved that despite the lace, Nate is really pretty dominant in the bedroom. That's another thing that Adam doesn't realize he needs until Nate.

On the whole, it makes for a really sexy, hot read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the enemies to lovers dynamic especially with the added stress coming from the board and the plan that they need to find some sort of compromise on. I flat out just enjoyed this one. It was good and entertaining.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
