Story Overview:
Working the night shift at a five-star hotel in downtown Los Angeles, I get my fair share of weirdos. But none of them prepared me for the night I met Bolt. He saved my life.

Now, he's my super hero--the hunk I'm yearning to thank in more creative ways than a damn kiss on the cheek. Too bad he's actually Reece Richards, my full-on nerd of a real-life boss.

He's got some commitment issues thanks to his evil ex and global empire--and from having to save the city from a maniac out to destroy everything he loves.

But there's something that just may interfere with all those plans. My heart.

My Review:
This book was just flat out fun and sexy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be honest. I had no idea what to expect since I haven't read Angel Payne before, but this was a fantastic surprise.

Okay, so the book starts out before Reece gains his super powers. To say he was a man-slut is putting it mildly. But he pays for it. A year later, he hasn't had sex since because he's terrified of what his new super-powers which super-charge all his 'internal fluids' will do to a woman. He can't take the risk and possibly kill someone just so he can get off.

But then he meets Emma and things immediately get carried away. They have chemistry that can't be put down. The chemistry is sizzling, but there's a great story behind all that sexiness, too. I liked Reece and the struggle he's coming through. He doesn't know what to do with this whole new world, but with Emma things are a little clearer...for the first time in a year.

The world is interesting. The Consortium is intriguing...and I was left with a LOT of question...first and foremost...WHY? But those weren't answered. So, now my most pressing question is...Are there more super hero books to come with some answers about the Consortium? I hope so. I could definitely go for more of Reece and Emma, but I'd be happy to see other converts, too.

But in the meantime, I liked this one and think you will, too. It was highly entertaining.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
