In the follow-up to Risking It All, hailed by Lauren Layne as “the perfect escapist read,” the heartthrobs of the Naked Men blog and podcast get a little too real about friendship, love, and sex. For one wealthy bachelor, the trouble starts when all three collide. . . .

After narrowly surviving a bus crash in high school with his best friends, science geek Knox Davis resolved to become so successful that he could have anything and everything he wants. Now he’s über-wealthy, a huge business success, and a notorious ladies’ man. Knox refuses to limit himself to one woman, but when his latest conquest—a blond beauty from the Alaskan bush—challenges his superficial ways, Knox begins to see the world through her eyes, and finds he likes what he sees.

A nurturer at heart, Madison Abbott wants to put down roots. She left Alaska to meet Mr. Right—and to track down Logan, the half-brother she’s never met. Instead, she finds Knox. Although the sexy-as-sin bachelor may not seem like marriage material, Madison’s starting to think that Knox is The One. But Knox refuses to settle down, especially once he learns that Madison is his best friend’s little sister. Now it’s up to her to convince Knox that she’s everything he really wants.

My Review:
I do really, really like this series. The premise of the series is that these five men are tied together by a tragedy they survived in Italy in high school when their bus crashed in the Alps leaving them hurt and stranded for 3 days. Knox's pre-story of that incident is particularly bittersweet. His regret then was that he might die a virgin.

I love that and it makes how he's spent the last ten years such a good story. He's spent the last ten years making up for that in spades. He's the man-whore of the group. He grew up, filled out, and used his big brain to train himself how to seduce women...any and every one of them that tempted him.

Madison has lived a very different life from Knox. She grew up in Alaska and is as far from materialistic as a person can be (which is VERY unlike billionaire Knox...who has made all that cash himself). While they have very similar beginnings, Madison is fresh and honest...to a fault. I love how outspoken she is. She doesn't hold anything back. I love how she questions him and holds him accountable...something that no one else in his life does. She's awesome with Knox and the chemistry between the two of them makes reading their story simply fun and entertaining. I really, really enjoyed them together.

And there is no talking about these books without talking about the bromance between the five guys (the ACSs). I love the five of them so much. My favorite scenes in these books are when they are all in the scenes together. They've been best friends and have counted on each other for a long time and that shows in how they call each other on their actions. But I love that Madison fits in with the five of them without Knox, too. There were some twists in her story line that I can't wait to see played out in the next book.

I truly love this series so much. I definitely recommend this and the first book in the series and am counting the days until book #3 is out. I'm so ready to read Logan's story!

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
