Story Overview:
When the weather outside starts cooling down, inside the dorm things are heating up. Can these college roommates fall in love without going out of bounds?

Beaten and heartbroken, Jesse Cole is placed in a new dorm room after his last roommate attacked him. Just wanting to be left alone to heal in peace, he's shocked when tall, dark and dangerous-looking Nick Moretti walks in.

Nick doesn't have time to tiptoe around his new roommate—he's too busy working in order to pay for school. But something about Jesse brings out his protective instincts. As their cautious friendship grows and becomes loaded with sexual tension, he wants to make Jesse comfortable.

Enter the perfect plan: a line of tape down the center of the room. Boundaries established.

But as innocent movie nights become hours-long temptation marathons, and whispered chats from across the room delve into straight-up dirty territory, crossing the line has never been so satisfying.

My Review:
I think I have a weak spot for gay guys finding love in dorm rooms. This is about the 4th or 5th book I've read with that basic plot line and I've loved every single one of them.

And I really loved this one, too. There are three men to this story.
1. Jesse is a sophomore. He was best friends with his roommate Ryan, who was straight and went off the deep end when Jesse kissed him (after much flirting and confusing signals leading up to it). He then proceeded to beat Jesse up where Kelly found him. Kelly is a gay guy and manages one of the dorms so he scoops up Jesse and rehouses him in Nick's dorm room.

2. Nick is Kelly's ex. He's a big, beefy bouncer with a heart of gold. He's older for a college kid...24 yo senior, but that's because he's had to get there the hard way. His mom abandoned him when he was 15. It's a miracle he even made it to college, but he's one semester away from achieving his dream.

3. Kelly is a side character, but he has so much impact on the two main characters. I really loved him and am so excited that he gets the main story line in the next book. The sneak peek at the end of the book had me panting...I want that book YESTERDAY!!

This story line is so good. Jesse is a twink and he's terrified when he moves in with Nick. He was just bashed so he's scared of every little shadow and movement. I loved how Nick handled him and earned his trust. It was a long time before Nick even told Jesse that he was gay because he didn't want him to feel threatened in any way.

Everything about this book worked for me. I love what the title means and how that one little phrase becomes the basis for these guy's relationship. Both guys have some scars that come out during the course of their story, but it worked for me. I loved the club that Nick works at and his boss was awesome!

I'm really excited about this series and can't wait for book #2 and Kelly's story! Loved his character in this one!

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
