My Review:
This first installment is not very long, but it starts off with a bang and never lets off. There is action, intrigue, suspense, and just the right level of hot, sexy times on every page of this book. Emma is a girl caught up in a bad situation after the plane she's on crashes. She was the ambassador wife's aide and is the only person left alive to know what truly happened out there. Her stubbornness keeps her alive after the crash, but it just might kill her once she gets home and starts pushing for the truth.

I really liked Emma. It was a little bit harder to relate to Ryan just because the majority of the book is from her point of view. He's a serious alpha male though...and I'm always a sucker for those especially when they wear a uniform. How he got her out of the jungle was more than a little impressive and I loved the bit in the story about how she finally made him pant. LOL.

There are all kinds of questions left unanswered and warning...this book ends on a bit of a cliff-hangar so be ready for that. You will definitely be chomping at the bit for the second part. I know I am.

This was an intriguing, nail-biting first installment. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
