Story Overview:
The Christmas Eve wedding Evan Cleary pulled together in four weeks is crashing down around him and taking his fledgling event planning business with it. With an empty altar and over a hundred guests arriving soon, he turns to the resistant, gorgeous brother of the runaway groom for help.

When Richard Patterson’s flamboyant brother storms out hours before he’s scheduled to marry his equally dramatic partner, Richard is left dealing with the fallout. The last thing he wants is more drama, yet he can’t deny his attraction to the effeminate event planner trying to salvage the wedding.

Evan thinks his crush on Richard is a lost cause, but one steaming kiss later, he learns different. What starts as a night of hot sex turns into a connection neither expected. But Evan knows their relationship is hopeless unless the ultra-conservative Richard can embrace every part of him—both in private and in public.

My Review:
This is a fast little story, but wow...it is packed with strong, sexy, emotional moments that left my heart fluttering. This story is incredible....and the fact that it truly only covers a 24 hour moment in time makes it even more impressive. Lynda Aicher expertly wove this story and these characters into an incredibly complex relationship that I fully believed in.

The book takes place on Christmas Eve. Evan's a wedding planner and the perfect wedding that he just spent the last month organizing just fell completely to pieces. Richard is the brother to one of the grooms who just stormed out. Also gay, Richard has stood by and helped his brother plan the wedding...mainly so he can stay close to the hot wedding planner...who is definitely NOT Richard's type. But the chemistry is there regardless.

Evan is slightly femme. Richard is NOT and frankly doesn't have any desire to be around anyone who is. Richard may be gay and have a drama queen for a brother, but he's surprisingly rigid in his ability to withstand and tolerate what he sees as flamboyant behavior. Evan and he are NOT a good match, but their bodies say otherwise.

Seriously...24 hours...and all of it is so extremely sexy. And while there is a lot of sex in this book, the underlying emotional connection between the two guys is really very powerful and moving. I definitely got swept away in their romance and loved every minute of reading it. This was one of those books that I mourned as I watched the percentage count down because I didn't want the story to end.

I highly recommend it!

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
