Story Overview:
Wedding planner Avery Crosslin may be a rising star in Houston society, but she doesn't believe in love--at least not for herself. When she meets wealthy bachelor Joe Travis and mistakes him for a wedding photographer, she has no intention of letting him sweep her off her feet. But Joe is a man who goes after what he wants, and Avery can't resist the temptation of a sexy southern charmer and a hot summer evening.

After a one night stand, however, Avery is determined to keep it from happening again. A man like Joe can only mean trouble for a woman like her, and she can't afford distractions. She's been hired to plan the wedding of the year--a make-or-break event.

But complications start piling up fast, putting the wedding in jeopardy, especially when shocking secrets of the bride come to light. And as Joe makes it clear that he's not going to give up easily, Avery is forced to confront the insecurities and beliefs that stem from a past she would do anything to forget.

The situation reaches a breaking point, and Avery faces the toughest choice of her life. Only by putting her career on the line and risking everything--including her well-guarded heart--will she find out what matters most.

My Review:
We've waited a long, long, long time for this book and luckily it was worth the wait. This was simply a heartwarming story.

Avery is a girl who spends her life planning picture-perfect weddings for other people, but is sure that she will never have that again. Three and a half years ago, her fiance abandoned her on her wedding day and shattered her heart and dreams. She has determined that she will NEVER be in that place again.

But then she meets Joe and he's a Travis...he doesn't take no for an answer very easily. I loved how Avery is not a classic beauty. She's curvy and self conscious about it so wears boxy, unflattering clothing. From the very start, Joe sees past that. She does have a bit of a physical transformation through the haircut, better clothes, but for him, he never saw all that about her. I ADORE that about him.

Again, this is a book that is just a happy read. I loved the big setting. The back story for both Avery and Joe. I loved the business that Avery and her sister have built and all that they overcame to do that. The visuals of their loft were amazing. As were the weddings and all the Travis settings. Lisa Kleypas is a best-selling author for a very good reason. She knows how to write a book and weave her story-telling magic. I was enthralled and entertained and loved every single minute of reading this book.

I still love the Travis boys, and they all play big parts in this book, along with their spouses. Loved that we get to see all of them. And there's a new family member who I love...Ryan. I'm hoping that we got a glimpse of a future hero in him. He needs a good HEA especially after what happened to him in this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
