Story Overview:
Bestselling author Sarah Morgan delivers another irresistible hero in her O'Neil Brothers series who's more tempting than dessert and twice as sinful!

Fiery French chef Élise Philippe is having a seriously bad day. Not only have the opening day plans for her beloved café fallen apart, but Sean O'Neil is back in town, and looking more delectable than ever. Last summer, they shared an electrifying night together…and the memories have Élise really struggling to stick to her one-night-only rule! Her head knows that eventually Sean will be leaving, so all she can do is try to ignore her heart before she spontaneously combusts with lust.

Being back in Vermont—even temporarily—is surgeon Sean O'Neil's worst nightmare. For Sean, returning home to the Snow Crystal Resort means being forced to confront the reasons and the guilt he feels about rejecting his family's rural lifestyle years ago. But discovering that Élise has settled in Vermont and still sets his blood racing is a very welcome distraction! Thinking he can persuade her into a replay of last summer is tempting, but remembering how good they are together is going to make walking away more difficult than he could imagine…

My Review:
When I read book #1 in this series, I fell in love with this family and their resort. I'm thrilled to say that love continued with this book. While this is book #2 in the series, you absolutely can read the books as stand alones, but both books so far have been great so I recommend you read both to get the true depth of the characters and their whole back story.

This book was about Sean (one of the identical twin brothers) and Elise. Elise is the french chef for the property and Sean lives four hours away in Boston where he's an orthopedic surgeon. Sean is the black sheep of the family in that he doesn't want anything to do with the family resort. It continues to be an ongoing subject of contention between him and his grandfather. But when his grandfather has a heart attack, Sean comes home where he has to confront those old demons and the draw he feels for Elise...a draw that he caved to once last summer.

Elise has her own demons that she left in Paris, but she's adopted Sean's family as her own to fill the gaps. Elise is a passionate girl and sees that as a fault. Because she loves too deeply to be trusted with the emotions, she doesn't date. She has sex...one time only...no connections for this girl. But as Sean works through his issues with his family, the two come to rely on their friendship more and more.

This book is set off by the magical setting of the resort. I thought it was amazing in the winter in the first book, but the images of the forest and lake and hiking trails in the summer moonlight were amazing and just as perfect. I loved this book and so much of that was because of the setting. But the characters are equally amazing. I love this family...the three brothers, their mother, and grandparents. They have their issues and disagreements, but overall they are a cohesive unit that comes together when it comes to trials. Elise is the perfect person to point out what a gift that is since she doesn't have any family left.

I loved that aspect of Sean and Elise's relationship. He resents his family obligations, but she sees them as an incredible gift. I loved how she was able to point that out to him through their friendship so that he could appreciate it. I also loved the theme of saying your feelings that ran throughout the book. Elise lost her mother unexpectedly so she is always careful to tell the people that she loves that fact all the time. She teaches that skill to Sean with some surprising reactions from his family when he practices it.

I also really loved Sean's relationship with his brothers. You can feel the love between them even when they are constantly harassing and giving each other a hard time. I love the three of them together and they truly make this series amazing. This was another great installment to the series and I cannot wait for Tyler's book!

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
