Story Overview:
Ruthie Knox’s Camelot series continues in this sizzling eBook original novel, featuring two headstrong souls who bump heads—and bodies—as temptation and lust bring nothing but delicious trouble.

An accomplished lawyer and driven single mother, Ellen Callahan isn’t looking for any help. She’s doing just fine on her own. So Ellen’s more than a little peeved when her brother, an international pop star, hires a security guard to protect her from a prying press that will stop at nothing to dig up dirt on him. But when the tanned and toned Caleb Clark shows up at her door, Ellen might just have to plead the fifth.

Back home after a deployment in Iraq and looking for work as a civilian, Caleb signs on as Ellen’s bodyguard. After combat in the hot desert sun, this job should be a breeze. But guarding the willful beauty is harder than he imagined—and Caleb can’t resist the temptation to mix business with pleasure. With their desires growing more undeniable by the day, Ellen and Caleb give in to an evening of steamy passion. But will they ever be able to share more than just a one-night stand?

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: How to Misbehave, Flirting with Disaster, and About Last Night.

My Review:
Loved, loved, LOVED this book. Wow, I just really love the way that Ruthie Knox writes her contemporary romances. She is quickly climbing up my favorite authors list. This book was fantastic.

Ellen's brother is a famous singer. A couple months ago, he had a wild affair with her neighbor and friend. They've since broken up, but the two girls are constantly dealing with the paparazzi now, so Jamie (the brother) hires a security firm to take care of them. That's where Caleb comes in...he's in charge of security.

A former soldier, Caleb is trying to put his military skills to work in the real world so he can help to support his family. That would work out a lot better for him if his clients would cooperate. Ellen doesn't want him laying a finger on her property. It's hers and she is very proprietary about it after being married to a guy who took and took from her. She will NEVER be that girl again.

Caleb is hot and sexy and all fit, alpha male and Ellen wants him...in her bed, not fixing her house...so they come to a compromise. This compromise works for Ellen as she swears she just wants the sex, but Caleb wants more.

My heart continued to melt all the way through this book for Caleb. *gah* He's just one of those perfect heroes. Immediately upon meeting Ellen, he knows he wants more with her and he charms his way into her life to get it. I love how well he sees what she's doing, but for the most part, he doesn't let that get to him. He's willing to slowly woo her so that she can see they could have something great. The scenes where they are negotiating are absolutely fabulous, fun, and oh-so-smexy!

There's also a side romance between the neighbor Paige and Jamie. I enjoyed that story too especially when Jamie is trying to get home to her and then doing his own kind of woo-ing. Seriously...there were several points in this book that completely and totally melted my heart...so romantic. I love it when Jamie is playing the piano and Paige is in her room asking for more. *awww*

I really enjoyed everything about this book. I'm crossing my fingers that Kate and Sean are maybe the next couple...I'm intrigued by all the details there. One of the best lines in the book was when Caleb called Sean on his feelings...LOVED!

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Loved Paige. Loved Jamie. Loved Caleb. Didnt love Ellen :( I didn't get her reluctance to making her home safe for her KID! But the story was good and as you said there were many times where my heart melted. Especially with Paige and Jamie. Really enjoyed that storyline :)
