Story Overview:
Weddings are hell…

After a month of planning not one, but two, demonic weddings, all Faith Bettincourt—the youngest Crown Princess of Hell—wants is to spend some quality time with her angelic boyfriend, Matt. But when a ghost from Matt’s past walks through Faith’s apartment door, her preoccupation with the weddings from Hell is all that’s keeping her from turning his ex, in all her devious angelic glory, into a down throw pillow.

Which is about when Matt’s zealous mother declares war on Faith’s family.

Now Faith will stop at nothing to stop the craziness and make sure the impending nuptials go off without a hitch. All she’s got to do is rescue one of the grooms and go up against an army of so-called do-gooders, and everything will go back to normal. Or as normal as it can be where the Devil's spawn is concerned. With any luck, she might just be able to resuscitate her love life while she's at it.

My Review:
This is the second book in this series and I am convinced now...I absolutely ADORE this series. My review of the first book can be found HERE and it gives you a good idea of how this world works.

The best thing about this series is the world it's set in...yes, there are religious settings, but they are unlike any that you've ever seen before. Faith is the daughter of Satan, but she regularly sees Jesus and the Alpha (i.e. God) at family events and meetings. Jesus is her cousin. In this world, they all realize that they hold a delicate balance and work together to maintain that. Everyone involved has moments of bad and good within them.

If you haven't read Book #1, stop reading here because I'm about to discuss things that will be spoilers for that book...................

In this book, Matt and Faith are an established couple...something that his mom and ex-fiance aren't thrilled about since Faith is the daughter of Satan and Matt is a nephilim (they are supposed to be on opposite sides of this whole good and evil thing). As a result, they are spreading a bit of evil of their own and making Faith's life hell. That's in the middle of planning two weddings for her half-brother and mother/father. Things are a little tense and Faith and Matt  aren't getting much private time.

To complicate things even further, Ben is back in the picture. Ben was Faith's ex-fiance who lost his marbles when he saw her father in a temper. He spent five years in a mental institution until the Alpha, as a favor to Faith, erased his memories of her and restored his mental health. So, Ben doesn't remember her, but he still feels that same attraction for her and is fairly persistent in his pursuit of her although she's told him she has a boyfriend.

The whole story and set up is crazy and fun and yes, even suspenseful. I reclassified this book as an Urban Fantasy because I think the series falls better under that classification and like any other UF book out there, this one ended with a bit of a cliffhanger (don't worry, it's not one that will make you want to gouge your eyes out in frustation). But it does leave me NEEDING the next book as soon as possible. I can't wait to see where Faith goes from here.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
