Story Overview:

He's had a wild ride, and now sex club owner Josh Scott is looking for a change of scene. But first, he's determined to bring two friends together, and he's willing to be a third wheel to move things along...

Beth Norris is eager to be set up with hot bartender Oliver Stephenson, but she's equally attracted to matchmaker Josh. Soon she's fantasizing about both men at once—and about being the one to call the shots in the encounter...

Ready to move on with his life post-divorce, Oliver is conflicted by the realization that he's attracted to women and men. Or more specifically, to Beth and Josh. He tries to keep his distance, but it's not long before the chemistry between the trio combusts in a night of mind-blowing sex.

In the light of day, it's clear something deeper than desire is growing between Josh, Beth and Oliver. But though Josh has helped others find love in unconventional relationships, is he willing to take a chance on one himself?

My Review:
Finally!! We get an HEA for Josh...*happy sigh* Josh has been a regular character throughout this series as the owner for Mavericks...the local kink club. I fell in love with him in book #1 and this book completely clinched it...I love his character! Beth and Oliver both work in the club. Beth is the asst. mgr while Oliver is the head bartender. They both are drawn to Josh...heck this is a menage book...everyone is drawn to everyone else. ;o)

What makes this book so incredible though is that all three of these characters are very wounded people. They've all been burned (hard) by love and it isn't natural for any of the three to trust. That would be hard enough in a relationship involving two people, but here you have three...with the added stresses of the fact that this isn't a traditionally accepted style of relationship. There's a LOT of vulnerability, confusion, and worry at play here.

Josh has known he's bi since he was a teenager, but his mother reacted extremely bad to it. He has the leftover mental scars to prove it and all that comes back during this time because someone is targeting his club....his refuge and safe place. Oliver has never been attracted to a man until Josh, but he's equally attracted to Beth. The possibility of both is a dream...one that he's afraid to grab because of a horrible betrayal which led to the end of his marriage...a marriage that he'd thought was a good one. Beth also has issues with trust, although she's the true impetus that gets this threesome together. I love how she seems to bind them all emotionally. She stays on top of making sure these two stubborn guys continue to talk and move forward.

There's a lot of stopping/starting in this book as the three work their way through the intricacies of this unusual relationship, especially when dealing with all their emotional scars. It's sure not a smooth road to HEA for them, but it was really good to read. I fell in love with all three of these characters (and I will admit, I wasn't a huge Beth fan from the previous book).

I loved Oliver for his sweet, almost shy ways. I loved Beth for realizing what she wants and that if she doesn't push the guys, then she'll lose out. I love Josh for the vulnerability he has in this book. *another happy sigh* It was simply a nice romantic read...that also just happens to be super hot and erotic. I recommend!

I received a complementary copy of this book in return for an honest review.
