Story Overview:
For makeup artist Grace Barrett, Hollywood isn't the land of golden opportunity. It's the land of difficult divas, cheating boyfriends and unemployment. So when her great-aunt offers her a free place to stay in Jackson Hole, Grace thinks she'll spend a little time in the sticks to figure out her life, and then move somewhere exciting to live out her dreams. But it turns out that there are a few more thrills in this small town than Grace was expecting….
Cole Rawlins is a rugged Wyoming cowboy born and bred. Yet he can't help but be drawn to the fascinating big-city girl who moves in across from him. He wants to get close enough to Grace to see past her tough facade, but if he does, she might see the real Cole. The one with a Hollywood history gone bad. As they discover a sizzling attraction, it becomes harder for him to keep his demons at bay—and those fires from long ago may burn them both.
They'll need more than scorching-hot passion to make this opposites-attract affair work. But if they can learn to trust one another enough to reveal their secrets, they just might have a chance at forever.

My Review:
This was such a great book and a great start to this series. Grace and Cole are both such wounded characters. I *heart* them!!

Grace ended up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as a result of basically running from her life. She's spent the last ten years in California and none of those 10 years has been very good, but in the past year, things have gotten significantly worse. So she runs to Jackson Hole where her great aunt has an apartment where she can live for free while licking her wounds.

Speaking of licking wounds, we come to Cole, Grace's next door neighbor. This is a cowboy who is looking at a busted up hip and the loss of his lifelong dream and plans because he may never be able to ride again. He sees Grace as trouble and definitely the kind he is drawn to, which he knows is a really bad idea. He's made that mistake before and never plans to put himself in that place again. But again, this is a romance novel, no one is able to get away from that pesky chemistry.

This book is just a sweet, romantic, emotional ride. I loved it. I loved the depth that the Wyoming landscape offered to the story. I loved the main characters and all their emotional scars. I loved the side characters and what they added. I loved the Stud Farm and the Saloon and I really loved Grace's aunt. The sex in this book was incredibly hot because Grace and Cole have a lot of anger built up (and let me tell you, that bum hip didn't hold this cowboy back AT ALL...whoa!)
I received a complementary copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Of course you would love this one. lol I did like the landscape and how it played a big role. I liked the side characters and the saloon was cool too. But you know how I felt about the rest. ;)
