Story Overview:
Biochemist Cresso Taylor lives the sort of lifestyle most men would envy—he has wealth, natural incubus charm, and more women than he can handle. But it’s not enough anymore. Not after meeting Genevieve Russell, the sexy scientist who works with him at Elcorp Laboratory. And she wants absolutely nothing to do with him.
After her fiancé broke her heart, Genevieve has had enough of womanizers. She’s determined to steer clear of sexy-as-sin Dr. Taylor, despite the fact that his incubus allure makes her want to rip his clothes off. But when a secret admirer’s affection turns to the macabre with threatening notes and grisly gifts, Cresso appoints himself her protector. As she and Cresso hunt her stalker, she discovers there’s a lot more to the sensual incubus than she ever imagined.

My Review:
oooh, I really, really enjoyed this novella! It was fun to visit this world without it being within the confines of the brothers and their jobs as enforcers for the Council. This book moves into Cresso's world. Cresso is a scientist and works in a lab for the Council in London. Cresso is also an incubus with a problem, because he has fallen in love with one of his fellow scientists, Genevieve.
Genevieve has issues of her own. She's incredibly drawn to Cresso, but her fiance broke her heart and her ability to trust when she caught him having sex with not one, but two of his nurses. Knowing Cresso's sexual history (hello, incubus) she doesn't trust him not to be a man-slut.

Cresso knows and understands Genevieve's fears and has no desire to have sex with anyone else, but the problem is that he will die because he's basically starving himself without having sex. Yep, this book is pretty hot!

Added to all that is the fact that Gen has a stalker and Cresso is trying to protect her which puts them in very close quarters.

Overall this is a great book. I enjoyed it every bit as much as I did the full length novels in the series. I continue to say, if you like paranormal books, you need to add this series to your TBR pile. You won't regret it!
