My Review:
This book can definitely be filed under the "I am so glad that I read it today" tab. I love the way that J. Shalvis' books are written. They simply leave me with a happy and satisfied feeling and that is why I love to read.

This book is Tara & Ford's story. They were involved 17 years before when they were both only 17 years old. That romance ended with an unplanned baby being put up for adoption and two broken-hearted teenagers. Now they are all grown up, back in the same town, and have spent 6 months trying to avoid each other, their past, and that explosive chemistry that is still there. To complicate matters, Tara's ex-husband, Logan, has come to re-claim her love and heart if she will take him back.

The story takes place in that quirky little town, Lucky Harbor, with all of it's characters including the three sisters and the three gorgeous hunky friends that fall for them. I LOVE all the town interactions...they always keep me giggling. In this book, there is an addition of a Facebook page for the town to air out all of the town gossip which is a hilarious addition to the book. I LOVE the town polls esp when they come to Tara's love life.

This book has an additional emotional pull with a new character that shows up on the scene. I won't give any spoilers by telling who it is, but when it happened, I was literally bawling!

I love Tara & Ford together. I love how uptight and bitchy she can be and how he can mellow her right out. I love that, on the flip-side, she can make this laid-back bad boy so uptight he can't figure out which way is up. They are a great combination and a perfect love story!

Oh, and bonus....once again, Jill Shalvis starts out each chapter with a word of advice. This time, they all come from Tara and they are brilliant fun!
"Never do anything that you don't want
to have to explain to 9-1-1 personnel."

"For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism. Ignore it."

"Today is the last day of some of your life. Don't waste it."

"Good judgement comes from bad experience.
Unfortunately most of that comes from bad judgement."

I am not a big fan of contemporary romance but this one looks like it was a good read!
